It tells you that I've gone out of my way to give advice to 779 people. When you've done likewise then you can criticise, until that time STFU.

You are new here - and so is the thanks system. If it had been introduced from the start I'd be on 4 times that number.
Anyway, most of my posts are in general discussion where the thanks system doesn't operate. Not very bright are you?

Joe - I've been here for a year and viewing the site for much longer, not that it really matters. I'm quite happy with my level of intelligence, but again it doesn't really matter in the context of being helpful vs being unhelpful (just for the sake of being contraire on occasions).
