Hey guys just wondering what your quote would be for the following work. which iv already had done. Just wondering if he is trying to rip me off thanks
Its a semi detached 1930s house, brick walls with floor boards.Keep in mind i left existing wiring in place and added to this. And provided all materials myself. Also no one living here at time of work
Room one, includes 3 double sockets, 2 wall lights and one ceiling rose, 1 light switch. work commenced :
- Moving one double socket a meter to the left
- adding a new double socket to 2 meters to the left of the ^ socket.
- installing 2 wall lights to existing wiring
- renewing ceiling rose
- installing 3 double socket fronts (varilights)
- renewing light switch
Room two, includes 10 downlights mains. work commenced :
- connecting the 10 downlights to existing wiring, from above (already installed into position with wiring)
Room three, includes electric cooker socket, induction hob socket, 12 downlights mains, 2 double sockets. work commenced:
- running 12 meters of 10mm cable from CU to kitchen.
- knocking out holes for induction hob socket 45a and cooker socket 45a. 2 double sockets.
- installing fronts for cooking sockets.
- running cable for 12 downlights (before ceiling was (plaster boarded) and installing and connecting. (holes already drilled)
Room four, includes one ceiling rose, one single socket
- renewing ceiling rose
- installing single socket front
Room five, includes 2 double sockets, ceiling rose, light switch
- moving double socket from wall to plaster board one meter to left
- moving double socket meter to left
- renewing ceiling rose and light switch
- installing 2 double socket fronts
Room six, includes 3 double sockets 1 ceiling rose, 1 light switch
- moving double one double socket half meter to the right
- installing 3 double socket fronts
- renewing light switch and ceiling rose
Room seven, includes 1 light switch, 1 ceiling rose
- renewing light switch and ceiling rose
Room eight, 2 light switches, one single socket
- knocking out for one light switch
- installing two light switchs
- knocking for single socket and installation
Room nine, bathroom light
- installing bathroom light
Extra work.
- running 8 meters of 1.5mm cable from CU to loft to separate upstairs and down stairs lights
- checking over existing junction boxes and renewing
- runnnng 2 lengths of 12 meter 2.5mm under floor from CU
- renewing light fiiting outside the front door
- fitting 2 outside lights
- fitting spot light to outside
- fitting double outside socket
- fitting new CU unit
- renewing main live an neutral fuse
