Hi all merry Xmas..I got told to unscrew slightly the silver screw at back of pump to make sure it was turning ??? Which it is but water is dribbling out off it when slack is this normal or should I get someone to replace it ??? As radiators are not hot enough down stairs just warm all the time thank you

yep that's normal for canned rotors (the type of pump)
whether you need a new pump or not requires more info but water dribbling out when you unscrew the bleed cap is not indicative of a problem

Cheers Mattie it is just as said rads down stairs can't balance them and not hot enough upstairs brill and at this time of year trying to eliminate as much as poss so cheaper to get someone to replace or fix a specific part if I can nail it down to it lol not tight just skint haha
sounds like you need to balance your system ,turn off all the upstairs rads and see if the downstairs ones heat up if they do then it needs balanced, read the WIKI for instructions how to
