Protecting softwood garden furniture

Hi

Having been given some softwood garden furniture I want to protect it from sun and rain that east get 3/4 years out of it as softwood is not very durable. Are there any good make of clear oil /stain that are recommended?

Sadolin extra durable range is about the best you can get, I find.....there's a formula for every requirement.

Thanks. As per their website the Extra Durabl ran ge is only for door, window. For garden furnitur they sseem to have four different brand names. Any idea if I should still use extra durable range or use one of the other ones mentioned for garden furniture.
