Hi All! been very busy servicing boilers! (only joking!) I don't carry any work on boilers unless someone drags me out of my bed with gun held to my head, only then to save my life will I get anywhere near a boiler! LOL
Nope I have been busy with lots of other things, including having rescued 3 more cats, one sneaked in my loft last night and so had a job getting him out, and earlier in the evening I was hanging a friend's large double radiator that weighs a ton and would have killed his son as it toppled over when he tried climbing over it to get to a window ledge to retrieve a toy and the rad brackets pulled out complete with plaster board fixings through the plaster board as sections of it just tore off, twisting pipes and it started to leak, so he called me to do emergency repairs, Someone ( I guess it would be a constructional company and their contractors as it is a newly build apartments) had bolted this heavy rad to his dry wall! God knows how on earth did they expect such a large rad to be held in place on a dry wall using dry wall fixings! so I went and re-bolted it back directly into masonary wall behind this dry wall using 4" long screws!
