I assume people do their research and then buy.
Do you use the internet at all for researching or just visit shops? I'm finding these sites rubbish, with very little information.
How long until you make your purchase?

Clarification in case the above is not clear:
When you decide to buy a new kitchen, do you use the internet to do any research on what's out there?
How long do you spend on it, given that it's a major purchase?

I'm not sure that there's one answer to those questions.

In my experience with clients:

Shortest time from deciding to have a new kitchen to finished design = 8 days

Longest time as above - 1 year 4 months

Research can come in many guises. Looking around shops and friends' houses for ideas as well as catalogues online as well as hardcopies. Then plan out what will go where, either using pencil and paper ( which i prefer ) before using free online software sites which will be able to give you possible 3d views. Or ask zsomeone in store to do it,.

How long does it take? Depends
