Pump for cold water tank and cylinder in the loft

my price is £450 from plumb center with terms, don't forget that your fitter most likely won't be shopping around for the best price on hundreds of websites and why should he, he will be getting it from his supplier who he will know can get it in easily and deal with returns if any problems.

If you cylinder is unvented, what size is your incming main? because if its 22mm you shouldn't have to worry about fluctuations in pressure and flow if everything was converted to mains.

Hi, to save plumber's time I can always buy it myself ;)

The incoming mains pipe is 15mm, the pipes coming out of the cylinder and the tank are 22, then reduced to 15

Not the way I look at it though each to their own approach I guess. I have several factors that I use, but I still shop around even on the web to give the customer the best price, why not, such is technology these days. If it's not my normal supplier I give the customer the option so there is always flexibility and compromise.
Scanning a few websites as part of a quote is no real issue to me and I have never had issue with returns where it was for a valid reason. Especially when the customer can quite easily question my quote and I could lose the business for overpricing.
