Hi all, just looking for help in something I've not seen in any threads anywhere!!

Basically my ECU took a funny turn on my 2006 plate 1.4 lx focus. I decided to get one off fleabay, which was the whole kit so ECU,clocks and fuse box. They all fitted and worked fine, no issues with locks etc, but I've found a fault which is when you open the doors via the fob the doors lock again not long after regardless if doors are open or not. this only happens if I dont start the car, and this used to happen approx 1-2 mins on the old ECU kit. I've searched everywhere and can only find how to disable lock features when driving. the ECU was a like for like model number, but turns out came from a higher spec car with a trip computer. I changed the indicator stalk and that works fine, but just the issue with the 10 seconds auto lock time. This has caused a problem or two, as my wife put my 1 yr old baby in the car, along with the keys on back seat and while she walked to the other side of the car to put my 4 yr old in the doors locked, which resulted in AA call out as she was stuck in middle of nowhere!. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Far as I know it's possible to deactivate it on most vehicles. I know it is on my Peugeot, but I've left it active.
A quick Google gets:

which looks as if it might do the trick.

Thanks but all this does is disable the auto lock feature when driving. I've tried this also but doesn't work. Think it's maybe a diagnostic thing I need doing. The only info I seem to find is for this nit my issue! Thanks anyway
