I have an old Hotpoint solid plate hob that I am considering replacing. The wiring was done when the kitchen was installed.
The existing wiring is 3 core (red/live, black/neutral, and earth). I think it is 4mm copper. The wires are 5mm incl the covering.
Most new hobs I see require 30/32 A 'fuse rating. Looking on internet I am unsure whether my existing wiring is appropriate for that.
