Running is on the increase whilst team sports are losing numbers, even football. Who would have thought.
Personally, I find it knackering and don't bother with it. The missus is a keen runner and has completed a few marathons. She completed a 37 mile run in Feb!
A lot of my mates are runners too. I just think they do it so that they can pig out later on and justify their munchies.
One thing I do notice though, is that there must be a release of endorphins because there is always this wide eyed jabbering that follows a good run. I guess it' what keeps 'em coming back for more.
Gotta be a good thing though, yes/no?
