There seems to be some things that appear on the PC and not on the iPad/iphone

As the display width decreases, the layout changes, and some buttons are hidden away to make room.

Did you say useless text vanishes, your signature vanishes in iPhone as well. Lol

There is an option to hide signatures.

There hidden by default in smaller displays, but you're quite right you can hide them all the time if you so wish:

I do think that the mark read button needs to be a little more prioritised.

Personally I think it is more important on a mobile device than some of the others.

Why on earth isn't this available on a mobile device? It's an essential button.
