If the alarm is unset, why would you want the bell to sound on a tamper? If your alarm is unset, you're at home, right? Why do you need to annoy the neighbours when the mouse eats through one of the cables or the cleaner knocks the PIR?

Why ?
I don't really know the Texecoms but, since the bell trigger is an open collector output, you should be able to program another output for tamper and wire it to the bell trigger... Seems daft, though!
