Such a pity he's mixing up his neutrals & grounds though. The way he's wired that panel is completely wrong.

And: "You're not going to be able to go into your local parts store and buy a 30-amp rated sub-panel. The lowest one you'd be able to get is 60 amps."

But then he's so confused that he's even mounted it upside down!

You haven't seen things just as bad or come across people just as confused and incompetent in the U.K? I certainly have, including some who deem themselves to be a "qualified electrician."
Indeed.

Not sure I've seen any professionals showing off work like that on YouTube though. Maybe I've just been lucky.
 
The problem is partly that a lot of US practices and accessories are downright disgusting.
