all I could discern were 3 output pairs, each one showing one lamp connected to it, and I thought "35-105VA"..... "3 x 35 = 105"..... "Probably no one output should have more than 35W on it".....
It now sounds as though he had 100W on one output anyway,

Still can't see how 10 lamps will have ELV cables no shorter than 300 mm and no longer than 2000 mm? Even in my bathroom with just 4 lamps I could not route cables within those limits. I think the 2 or 3 cables given the options shown in the data sheet is not the real problem. I think it's the amount of cable and 35kHz which is causing EMC problems.

If the original was a true transformer then it may have been over voltage to start with. But really it is either multi-power supplies or a 50 Hz extra low voltage side.

Thanks to both for the images. As observed, they don't clarify much.

Does it have other terminals on the LV side which we can't see? The blurb says "Large mains terminals for loop-in and loop-out, no need for a junction box" but I can't work out how just L/N/E does that.
 
So I have line loop in and out.

Neutral loop in and out.

Earth loop in and out.

Even if we accept that the terminals are fine to take 2 x 1.5mm² conductors each the light will be on all the time.

I don't have a good one.

In Iggifier's photo nothing on it agrees with "35 - 105".

I can't think of a more reasonable assumption than 20-70W per output, total ≤ 105W, and possibly total ≥ 35W, but that's not to say that is a reasonable one.


Bear in mind that this product is made by a company which thinks that with 3 terminals you can put a light on a loop-in circuit without needing a junction box, so there is no evidence that they have a clue what they are talking about, only some to the contrary.

20 min//70W max. per output is the only sensible conclusion I could come to given the apparent contradiction between the "LV lamp 20-70W/6.0A max." marking and the overall 105W rating.

The "35 - 105" description appears to be Screwfix's. The manufacturer's specification says 20W minimum total load:

To be fair, the term "loop in" could be taken to mean something other than a switch loop specifically - As in "I'll loop this switched feed into this power supply and continue to the next."
