Well, we are only human. We do have prejudices and biases. The point is, that free speech is being stifled in Europe (on that I'm sure we can all agree) Just because people are worried about certain problems, doesn't mean we can sweep it under the carpet. It's not going to go away. As far as the EU and Merkel are concerned, the problems they are having seem to be ignored.
From where I sit, certain "moderators" on this forum, appear to have their own agenda , to stifle open debate.

You make an assumption. I do not for the most part see free speech being stifled. There is one exception. Many people are frightened of making certain remarks about Islam and the Prophet, for fear of being murdered in a particularly unpleasant manner. This is of course due to the behaviour of a small group of extremist nutters, who try to murder anyone who for example draws a cartoon of the Prophet. But otherwise, no, free speech is not being stifled.

As to the mods stifling debate, there have been some blatantly racist/bigoted posts on the forum. These are removed. That is surely the duty of mods on a forum.

There's some pretty horrendous stuff on you tube.....and if you Google searches asking " migrants problems in (name the country of your choice)" some depressing results are found.

I can't believe you don't know that Sweden is not the rape capital of the world. Sweden has a way of recording sexual offences which results in a far higher number than would be the case were it to use the same recording methods as other countries. Thus if a man repeatedly rapes his wife, once a day for a year, that is recorded as 365 rapes. The supposed fact that you quote is a favourite of extreme right wing web sites. They also like to claim that Sweden is undergoing a rape epidemic, which is another myth associated with willfully ignoring the facts.

You might be surprised to learn that not everything you read on the internet is true. You have to be very careful as to what you believe. Otherwise you end up believing God knows what nonsense from a shedload of whack jobs, especially conspiracy theories.

May I suggest that you do some reading on the subject? Some countries will record it as one rape, Sweden records it as multiple rapes. Also what constitutes rape varies, Sweden has a much broader definition of rape. Of course some people here reject these arguments as they think crime experts are lying. They'd rather believe YouTube, and ConspiracyWhackJob.com.

For your information people such as Corgigrouch have dismissed experts quoted on the BBC news web site, and official sources referenced on Wikipedia, and have accepted fake and extremist videos on YouTube. I'm not trying to make any point about anything other than if a women is raped 365 times, I think she has been raped 365 times. Seriously, if a man punched you in the face 50 times would press charges as if you were struck once? If your neighbour burgled your house 365 times would you say he robbed you once? I've looked at your point re Sweden and you have have a very valid point. I accept that.
