Well, we are only human. We do have prejudices and biases. The point is, that free speech is being stifled in Europe (on that I'm sure we can all agree) Just because people are worried about certain problems, doesn't mean we can sweep it under the carpet. It's not going to go away. As far as the EU and Merkel are concerned, the problems they are having seem to be ignored.
From where I sit, certain "moderators" on this forum, appear to have their own agenda , to stifle open debate.
You make an assumption. I do not for the most part see free speech being stifled. There is one exception. Many people are frightened of making certain remarks about Islam and the Prophet, for fear of being murdered in a particularly unpleasant manner. This is of course due to the behaviour of a small group of extremist nutters, who try to murder anyone who for example draws a cartoon of the Prophet. But otherwise, no, free speech is not being stifled.
As to the mods stifling debate, there have been some blatantly racist/bigoted posts on the forum. These are removed. That is surely the duty of mods on a forum.
