Replacement Thermostat

Is anyone able to advise on a direct replacement for a Satchwell TLX 2251?

Or even an upgrade? Its currently used for a Myson/Thorn 25/30ah WAU

Just putting it out there but would a NEST work? What are my options?

As it's a 24 volt device, you can forget about Nest and most other thermostats unless you want a non-trivial amount of rewiring.

If there's wires there then a nest would work yes.
I would abide not diying it though.
Search this forum for "how to connect nest" unless you have a good understanding of hygiene control wiring it's not an easy job

If you want Nest it should be simple for a trained installer to make the switch
