Hello
I have a question about the soil pipe I need to redirect so our extension can be built. Currently, the soil pipe carries only the toilet waste out the back of the pan and straight down the back of the house; an external durgo sits on top. The bath & basin and downstairs kitchen wastes all exit into a separate drain.
I would like to move the soil stack inside the house so it runs horizontally from the upstairs toilet and into the corner (about 2metres), then verticaly down the wall in the corner, and about 2metres horizontally back into the kitchen (which will eventually become the downstairs toilet once the extension is complete) to collect the sink, d/w and w/m waste, then out through the wall and into the drains.
I plan to add an internal durgo upstairs next to the loo and an air inlet valve to the bathroom sink waste to avoid any vacuum from flushing.
I think I've attached a (rubbish) sketch; do you think this would be ok?
Many thanks for your comments.
