Grundfos UPS 15-50 Power issues

i do not waste my time composing pictures and videos to answer casual comments by those who should know exactly how to do simple tests.

It is odd that you will always disagree with me but never explain why! In fact it seems to be your main hobby nowadays.

I must make a note to never respond to your off topic comments.

You will not do so because you can not substantiate your off the cuff posts and cite non interest when asked to prove the facts

Do you want to go back and look at the pcb in question and admit defeat or tell me where I am going wrong, I will then stop picking holes in your posts. Never say I am not fair.

Your post with pcb picture, full of errors, have you responded? No you have not.
Not my main hobby but reciprocating your methodology. Do you have a kind word to say to anyone, other than slag their knowledge and ability?
You said I was not willing to learn, you will not accept what someone else has to say
Where did I say type 3000 relay is used in boilers?
Having said that, is the operational any different from any other relay?

I have to disagree with you there.

But perhaps you don't realise how to measure it?

You don't use the resistance range on the meter!

FACT. A high contact restance will cause localised arcing, localised heating of contact to eventually fail to make contact. Examples pcb on Baxi 105 fan kick as momentary contact made due to contact bounce at operation, NOT high resistance contact ( if that was the case arcing would take place and contacts would melt or fuse)
FACT. With contact no longer making there will be NO current flow when relay is operated

You say I do not realise how to measure it.. dream on Tony. Smoke screen you are putting out is not working

I only post sufficient information when discussing topics with you to bring out lack of knowledge on your part. Anyone and everyone else, I would go out of my way to give assistance. It is not that you are a bad person, just that you have a habit of believing your knowledge exceeds in every case. Sadly that is not the case and has been amply shown in recent posts you have made. Not admitting you are fallible and can err as well, is a trait lot of regulars are finding difficult to accept

Once again, get off your soapbox, smell the roses, be what you are when you are not posting. Who cares wether your knowledge exceeds mine or the other way round. Accept what others have to say without question them unless you know they are wrong and stop judging poster, regulars and visitors.

@DP at least you can spell relay

Ian spent some 20 years working on strouger equipment adjusting all sorts of relays for timing, operate and release lags, pulsing relays, changing contacts, coils, adjusting armatures, block clearance, lift pressure etc and along comes tony to make a silly comment that 3000 relay is not fitted in boilers. I bet Tony cannot tell me why he thinks a relay in a telephone does not operate same as a common relay in a boiler.
He can't even look at a picture and figure what is what yet tells me I am lacking knowledge. Calls a 12 volt regulator a 24 volt regulator. I give up.

Last such tussel we had was I suggested primary flow temperature in a boiler will be 70 degree C during HW if the boiler is running to spec. This information was acquired from Great Eric and has paid dividends. Have checked this often, measured flow rate and burner pressure and temperature figure is 70 approx. Would Tony accept it? Not in a month of Sundays. Suggested he try that himself- would not have that either

Dan I am afraid that @Agile is very amusing on here, but must be taken with a pinch of salt, I am the first to admit that I know very little about electronic components, the reason for that is that I am a Gas engineer, and have been for more than 30 years, in that time I have never had to measure ERF or anything else he deems to be an expert in, I have never needed to use an oscilloscope, in order to professionally repair a boiler, I have worked in most aspects of the industry and have never needed any of the shoite that he comes out with, I do not know everything and when I need a helping hand then I ask for it as we all do, would I ever ask Tony ? not a bloody chance, a career change cowboy of the highest order

Ian I am a CC as well. Like you I know my limitations.
Would I argue with Steel, you, pullar, DR, Lee, mike, gas, g4u, ( just to name the names that come to mind but by no means a complete list). No chance. The lads in CC could leave likes of me standing if things got serious.

Difference is you have the grace to ask for advice as we all need at times CC or not, the top 100 gas engineer however thinks that he knows everything, he is an arrogant self praising clown,it is very apt that he decided to do a comedy course, he has finally found his true place in life, they say that every clown has his own identity, could this be a challenge to post what the great Agiles clown dress up should be
