I think the ones I have are riveted, but I haven't checked yet. Watch this space!

A lot of them aren't.

Maybe, but the subsequent discussion initiated by BAS related to whether the ventilation holes rendered it unacceptable (IP-wise), even if the terminals had an adequate cover.

It would probably have been better had I not highlighted the bare terminals as the problem with that sort of PSU....

What they are selling are COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) regulated 12V power supplies designed to be used by anybody building equipment into which they need to put a power supply. They are absolutely not intended to be plonked on top of a cupboard in a house to power lighting.
