It is very, very simple! Not the solution, but the variety of solutions, depending on the possible scenarios.
E.g a free trade deal - not much work needed depending on the terms of the deal.
No deal - detailed plans on how the border will be operated.
Then various plans for all the possible scenarios in between.

Then these plans are presented to EU negotiating team for discussion.
It is not rocket science to plan for various scenarios. Industry, commerce, finance have been doing it since time immemorial.

Are you suggesting that this government is incapable of strategic planning?

Would people be doing the same amount of moaning about the Brexit negotiations if it was a labour government doing the negotiation, or is it only worth moaning about brexit because they don't like the conservative government? It's a bit confusing what people are actually moaning about and were are they putting the blame for their frustrations.

Its also confusing that the EU is a neoliberal project, which one would think those one the left would be anti EU (hence why Corbyn is a Euro sceptic).

And that's the thing. I have said all along it was a good election to lose. Brexit is the Tories badge of shame. Poor old Theresa is preparing to go grovelling to Brussels with her increased offer.

The European Union is remote, racist, imperialist, anti-worker and anti-democratic: It is run by, of, and for the super-rich and their corporations. A future outside austerity and other economic blunders rests on winning the struggle to exit the EU, removing us from its neoliberal politics and institutions.

I'm hoping that we get a good deal at the end of the day but if not I will take tremendous pleasure in knowing that old nosey with his bitter sarcastic comments will have to suck it up like the rest of us.
