Baxi 100 HE noisy start-up

My first post in the plumbing section.

I have a Baxi 100 HE which has just started making a loud deep booming noise when firing up. This is not the usual ignition bang associated with this boiler, it sounds more like an unclipped water pipe vibrating but it is coming from inside the burner box. It lasts for a couple of seconds then disappears.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Can you upload a video with sound?
Could be down to several things but is all likely to be RGI territory.

The noise was a bit like someone blowing a low note on a tuba.
All sorted now. My gas installer friend came round, cleaned out the condensate trap and gave the boiler a service.

Condensate trap was my first thought but I didn’t want to encourage you to go tinkering around
