Pretty intolerant bunch purging the Labour party of moderates seem a nasty group ....getting rid of that counsellor because he was "too working class" no less ...... Welcome to neo labour.

yep afaik the group was founded by some privately educated bloke , who also went to cambridge ? and has never had a job , other than being a carrer politician and pps to some mp

a true working class hero

And they felt that people shouldn't be allowed to rent new council houses in Harringay, because it was against Momentums principles to allow a partnership with the private sector. If that's not screwed up ideological thinking I've no idea what is.

All these Labour warriors seemed to have been brought up in privileged circumstances and gone to uni, including corbin family home a mini mansion.
And he's never had a job in the real world .....a reporter once I believe.

So it's a idealogical crusade for them but very very far removed from working towards improving the lot of the working man. Labour betrayed the working man.

Contrary to how it may seem I'm not a tory supporter, but when they claimed they were the party of the working man, I couldn't help thinking that they were ............more than Neo labour !

Yeah, terrible this momentum lot, spreading democracy and giving power back to the people, a lot of these Blairites were there to solely serve themselves, even stopping new Labour Party members from voting in the leadership election, now the boot is on the other foot, the power has been taken from the few who look after themselves and given back to the many........democracy is a wonderful thing lol

I'm sorry banjo, but are you an avid hard left supporter, or just a Corbyn supporter. Whilst I agree that The Blair crowd were entirely self serving, Momentum are the same, just way way way way to the left. They have no interest in democracy whatsoever, and if they were ever to get into power, they would be happy to destroy the country for the sale of their ideaology. In Haringay recently, they forced the council leader out, simply because she was going into a private partnership deal as about the only way to provide much needed council housing. Momentum forced her out rather than allow any homes to be built by the private sector, so no, Momentum aren't for the many, they are just for the few - themselves.

Perish the thought that the Tories must go for Brexit in order to glean the votes of UKIP supporters.
Hard right or what?
But lets not mention that, eh?
It doesn't fit your narrative.

Now whatever gave you that idea. As Labour have agreed to get behind Brexit, ooh lets see, maybe because that was the result of the referendum, it's difficult to justify accusing the Tories of going for Brexit to glean the vote of the UKIP supporters. What you're referring to, is how we got the referendum in the first place, because Cameron was panicking about losing voters to UKIP.

Having the endorsement of the IRA's leader Gerry Adams says it all really.

I am a Socialist, and believe in socialist values, Corbyn has brought socialism back into the party, and in doing so, has doubled the party membership making it one of the biggest socialist parties in Europe...
As for Haringay, its not just a case that Momentum forced her out, that is the right wing medias spin on the story, and as usual people take it as the truth, Two local MP's were against her plans, one of them a Lib Dems MP.
please take time to read this article for a more accurate version of the truth..

It’s where council leader Claire Kober plans to take the vast bulk of municipal assets – everything from libraries to school building to council homes – and stick them for 20 years into a vast private fund worth £2bn. Her partner in this new Haringey Development Vehicle (HDV) is the multinational property developer, Lendlease. If you want an explanation of why Haringey has just seen a clearout of its councillors, drop labels such as Trot or Momentum. Use HDV.

Unprecedented in its scale and scope, the HDV will chuck families out of their homes, rip apart local communities and shut down shops and businesses. Its proponents cannot be described as moderates, any more than Thatcher’s sell-off of our water and electricity can be described as moderate policies. Kober and her supporters on the council claim that it is the only way Haringey can tackle its giant housing crisis. That overlooks the fact that the very first tranche of public property to go into the pot will be the entire civic heart of Haringey, including the central library and the civic headquarters. It ignores the fact that the HDV has no explicit target for social housing.

Wow, so you disapprove of people who were privately educated and went to university being politicians!

You've never admitted that before.

I suppose that's why you hate the current, and all the previous, Conservative governments.

Nigel Farage was privately educated, too.
