Hi.

We have toilet being replaced

The plumber says he can’t get toilet back to wall with a L bend.

With the C type bend he can’t get the pipe in.

So I’m no expert here but surely if we extend he C style pipe it would work.

Can someone please suggest a product as I think the plumber is being lazy

How far away from the wall is the cistern when the "L" shaped pan connector is used ? And if the swan neck is used ,what is the distance between the front face of the swan neck and the rear face of the ceramic pan outlet ? There are multiple connectors available ,its a question of finding the one for your set up.

is it a concrete floor? Bottom-outlet pans are often a bit tricky to fit. How far is the centre of the soil pipe from the wall?

Is there a reason why the waterpipe has to be placed in the most inconvenient position?

Did he consider an S Trap toilet? He needs to do his measurements properly and then the toilet is sourced to suit. Take the centre of the soil pie in the floor and measure to back wall that's the measurement from the centre of the S Trap spigot the to the back of the cistern.

We supplied the toilet

Attached is snippet from manual

Second pic in your first post shows the angled ( L shape ) pan connector fitted to the WC ,and it appears to have a fairly long horizontal section ,compared to others that are available. If you only need to gain 20 mm it should be easy to source a suitable angled pan connector. Try the Mcalpine range.

No ,that's not an angled pan connector, it just offsets 20 mm in the height. Without the actual measurements of the L shaped pan connector that you have ,or all the relevant other dimensions ,its not possible to tell you what will do .but mcalpine code WC con 8F ,or WC con8 F 18 would be the kind of thing to compare to.
**********
EDIT.. First code should be WC con 8E ,sorry for the typo

Ah apols, missed the whole 20mm bit, yep agree, if it's just 20mm you are looking to find then one of the flexible bent connectors could be used as @terryplumb mentions, if one of the standard bent connector doesn't fit.

You'll defo get one to make that up, your plumber needs to apply a bit of thought rather than just say .... doh ... it doesn't fit.

Ok. I measured up.

The standard connector means 35mm out from the wall

The pipe centre from the wall admit stands is 174mm
So according to manual I need the following (the bottom one) what is that hose?
