The BBC is Russophobic, they never broadcast any thing positive about Russia they are the mirror image of RT when it comes to reporting on Russia.
Like RT's coverage of the West the BBC picks up on the negative aspects of Russian life and politics while not entirely false they give a distorted view of reality.
According to the BBC Russian criminals who come here aren't really criminals they are 'politcal dissidents' or 'Putin critics' who have been fitted up by the ' Putin regime' .

Circumstancial evidence at best, they stopped short of saying Russian soldiers were involved.
The Ukrainian military also had access to the type of missile which brought down the airluner, and why did the Ukrainian government let this airliner fly over its airspace in the first place.
Although there is a possibility that the plane was shot down by rebels who mistook it for a military jet.
When the Americans shot down an Iranian airbus killing 100's of civilians they denied it at first and then shrugged it off as "collateral damage"
