I need to hang a mirror, 2 bedside cabinets and fix a wardrobe to stop it tipping.

All are on stud walls with 50mm of Celotex and 12.5mm plasterboard over the top so the chance of finding a stud in the right place would be slim.

There's loads of stuff on Google but what's good in real life?

Thanks

Just about any fixing will do for the mirror, are the bedside cupboards wall hung ? How many fixing points. Personally I would not buy a wardrobe so unstable as to need wall securing.

Yes, wall hung and I could put 4 in over 30cm.

The wardrobe stands up fine but there are fixing points to attach it to the wall so I thought I might as well.

Standard plasterboard fixing would be ok on wardrobe if it’s stable. The problem with fixing bedside cabinets is that if you accidentally leaned on one or moved bed carelessly then there would be enough leverage to rip off the wall.
You could use plugs and also adhesive to fix them but not ideal for that type of wall.

Modern furniture tends to be fairly lightweight (in comparison to the Victorian mahogany stuff you possibly favour) and the extra anti-tip fixing is there so that kids can't climb the front and tip the wardrobe over (it does happen). Makes sense to me to use it if there are kids in the house
