But that is not what the Brexiteers voted for

They voted OUT and a Customs Border to stop Migrants

Its a waste of time looking at individual things. And it was never only about migrants

Two years ago the UK went in to the negotiations with a very strong hand on each and every issue relevant to the exit. The problem was, and still is, that the British team (some say controlled by May) did not know how to negotiate or had the completely wrong attitude to the negotiations.

What has not helped, is the likes of Corbyn and Clark undermining the UK's negotiating position at every opportunity. These people have effectively been working for the EU's side and helping the EU get their preferred agreements to the detriment of the UK - yes the UK the very country that these people should be supporting.

What you never ever do in any negotiation is say that you wont do the thing that the other party fears most. That's just basic stuff.
And you never let the other party win the spin and information war either.

If you believe that, you'll believe anything...

Oh that's right - you did

Who should be afraid ....who......The EU of course

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...EU-scrap-Irish-backstop-preserve-ties-UK.html

That's more like it a little balance, German economists saying the EU might not have the upper hand ! May's got a Royal Flush she should play it hard the time for bluffing is over she should go all in ....

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Have you read the report?

Ask yourself why hasn't the Daily Fail linked to the report.

The report outlines there is no need for a backstop because the UK would be in a Customs Union with the EU.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yes I am laughing as none of you bozos read the report but went off on the DM article like it was gospel.

You have all just proven how utterly gullible you are.

Strong hand. I thought you wanted a No Deal. Ta ra see you goodbye.

May has botched the negotiations with her red lines.

So an MP who is not part of the ruling Government or party has more control over the negotiations - only in a warped mind would that hold true.

You obviously think the negotiations is tantamount to discussing the price of a few bricks. I suggest you head over to Harvard Program on Negotiation and perhaps learn a thing or two.

Who thought up the stupid term "back stop"?

What does it mean? I don't mean in brexit terms but the words - "back stop".

Can we settle it with a "front go"?

Is it like a road when an accident has been cleared? It is said to be "back open". We know what the people mean but the words are nonsense.

The UK has over 7,500 miles of coastline, a customs border isn't & won't stop all of the illegal ones.

According to the remoaners on here, it will be Armageddon for our economy, and presumably the £, post-Brexit. So The UK will be far less attractive to migrants, legal or otherwise. Job done.
