have lost a case of race discrimination brought by a bloke who applied for a constable job in the force

The employment tribunal have found that he was discriminated against due to the fact that he was white

Was on the radio a few minutes ago

Did he complain to the White Police Officers' Association? Of course he didn't. If there was such an organisation, the liberal flakes would be up in arms because they would say it's racist to exclude black officers from an association.

Of course, there is actually a Black Police Officers' Association. Liberals seem fine with this.

You've entirely missed the point of why they feel they need their Black Police Officers Association.

No doubt it went 'whooosh' straight over your head.

Why don't you tell me why? Did you not read Transam's post?

You really do need to wake yourself out of the sleep that your MSM of choice has put you in.

The Black Police Officers Association exists because a bunch of black police officers felt the need for one to exist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far a bunch of white police officers don't feel the need to get together & form an association to combat the problems they face from all of those black police officers.

He will be awarded compensation

First case of its kind in the UK

He was denied the job because he was a white hetro sexual male

Tis what was said

The point that was made, that obviously went "whoosh" over the top of your head, is that IF a White Police Officers Association was formed everybody woud be up in arms saying it is racist. Seems to me there is one set of rules for some and different rules for others.

Not sure what an MSM is but it's only your posts that are soporific.

So are you saying that white officers don't need an association because they don't encounter problems? Did you totally ignore or just not register Transam's OP. THE POLICE ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE. IF THEY'RE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE, THEN THAT'S A PROBLEM FOR WHITE OFFICERS TOO. Doh!

There is an example of one force discriminating against one white police officer. That is one case.
It is not an example of institutional racism. It is an issue caused by a mistaken application of positive action.
It is possible that there are other cases of discrimination against white people caused by mistaken application of positive action, but none have come to light yet.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to state that there are a multiplicity of cases involving discrimination against other ethnicities. Hence the findings of the Macpherson Report.

Does that one case not matter? Shame on you.
Of course it matters. It has been dealt with. I did not suggest it did not matter. But it does not warrant an accusation of institutional racism, as did the findings of the Macpherson report.

If that deserves shame on me, so be it.
But I suspect your accusation of shame on me is prejudging my response.
If my response is not as you expected, perhaps you will be good enough to withdraw your comment?
Or not, as you please. It matters little to me, but it does indicate more about you than it does about me, especially if it is incorrectly alleged.
