It doesn't change the status of the referendum. It was still advisory, as will all referendums be, unless legislated to be otherwise. It just makes Brexit a statute.

If legislation is passed to enact whatever the referendum was about, it does not change the status of referendum. It remains advisory.
The legislation is just a piece of legislation based on the outcome of the referendum, That legislation could just as easily ignore the outcome of the referendum, it still wouldn't change the status of the referendum.
