I'm fixing my daughters hoverboard which needed a new plastic shell. When I came to replacing the shell, there's a few computer boards and speakers fixed to the shell by some kind of resin - perhaps silicone or polymer? I need to carefully remove these and then fix to the new plastic shell. Can someone recommend what type of glue/resin/sealant I should use? Or is anything OK?!!

Cool, in that case I'd use something like this

Other, probably more deserving, retailers are available.

Oh hang on, I've haven't read the thread properly, my bad, yeah hot melt glue probably be fine.

My local Poundland was selling hot melt glue guns for.....£2?? Probably best to buy 2 so you can use the second to fix the first when it falls to bits after 5 minutes .

The rate the glue melts in a glue gun is usually proportional to the cost .
You need a lot of patience to use the cheap ones .
