Use petrol pressure washers, mowers, blowers. Occasionally a breaker. I was told you can damage your hand. Any advice on this? I heard there's a glove you can buy to help

You can suffer Rainnous disease/ white finger from using items with a lot of vibration. Not usually a problem unless you use a lot of vibrating equipment (sic).

Any vibrating equipment (and power tools) will give a vibration time use per hour/day in the manual. Most people ignore them but I've heard vwf is very painful.

purpleroad, good evening.

Must admit not an area i am to familiar with, get some sensation using my pressure washer?

Below are 2 links, first is a glove site, problem I have with such sites is they are there to sell you "Stuff" but do not give an indication of the efficacy of the products? What i find is that a product that is a hit with your work mates does not work for you?

Second link is the HSE web site. possible other links that may assist?

if you are an employee? your employer is responsible to provide "suitable" protective gear, if a glove given does not work for you it is up to your employer to offer an alternative that you are happy with
