Theresa May's Brexit talks with the Labour Party are a "grave mistake"

No i don't believe currently what May is doing is right. So my answer is NO.
So do you believe that we should leave the EU with no deal, and all that would entail?
(No legislative agreements or trade deals in place, and all the implications for UK borders).

Yes or No?

But you're missing the point.
Far from it...

I've all along tried to elicit the quitter view on real world Brexit options, but it's like trying to get blood out of a stone!

And that my friends is detrimental to the UK as a whole.
I would suggest that sums up Brexit (in whatever form) nicely!

Judging by the hemorrhaging of support for the Conservatives, Labour are absolutely correct in opposing the government on this issue, and if they believe it is in the best interests of the country, their position is fully justified, whatever political/parliamentary tactics they employ.

So Labour reckon that their deal is better than the current Remain?
By your line of reasoning, they must.

What is Labour's Deal?
And if it was presented to Parliament, would it be opposed, and would festive be complaining about it being opposed?

Exactly.

But they must have one, (and a better one than we currently have), otherwise they'd be loudly campaigning for Remain, wouldn't they ?

Unless of course, they're employing "constructive ambiguity", which is of no benefit to the country at all......

And what exactly is May's deal?
Or what exactly is a no deal?

No-one has spelt how exactly any Brexit option would work in practice!
We'll never know if we can't get past the Withdrawal Agreement. (WA)
Sorry, we might find out what a No Deal looks like, but we'll never find out what further negotiations will bring without passing the WA first.

Judging by recent polls, they have more support for their "constructive ambiguity" than the Conservatives have for their policy. So that means that Labour are spot on with their policy, whatever it is.

GW opinions are his opinions, not facts.
"Even if May" is suggesting a highly unlikely hypothetical situation, on which you base your criticism of Corbyn's objection to opposing Conservative policy.
(gently headbutts keyboard) The role of the opposition is to oppose.

You don't get it do you? Your response is... an Oxymoron.

"No you're wrong Festive because the opposition are there to oppose the opposition end of. "

No i am right that's precisely GW's point (which i already pointed out wasn't factual) and my point that Labour here are opposing Brexit here. Well done :) this is why we have not moved forward its NOT because 'them brexers can't make up their minds' Its being blocked by who you have rightly pointed out by the opposition because quote you - 'The role of the opposition is to oppose' Anyone without a brain can oppose anything. But this is causing a significant impact on our country currently, it's all about selfish gains.

The WA has fallen at its three attempts because it is not supported by the opposition, and the Quitters in the Tory party, and the DUP, the coalition party with the government.

If it was only opposed by Labour it would have passed first time.
So blaming Labour for opposing the government policy is pointless and futile. You and GW should be arguing with the Tory party members, and the coalition party, for opposing the policy.

Attaching your own explanations for Labour motives for opposing government policy is grasping at straws.
You should be complaining at the Tory members and the DUP.

Now having expressed my comments, it suggests how juvenile and immature GW's comments were. He should not be blaming Labour for the failure of the government's policies.

Therefore there isn't any 'deal' at all...(y)

We can't even agree on what the height of the cliff we apparently want to jump off is

Isn't that the point? The discussion now, is about whether to jump, or not to jump.
The height from which we will jump, or more precisely, from which we will land, has still to be decided. But cannot be discussed until the decision to jump, or not, has been decided.

Which kind of suggests the absurdity of it.

Are you a Labour supporter per chance?

I realise the brexiters are upset, but -

what normally happens to proposals in Parliament which don't get a majority?

You are wrong, Labour is not blocking Brexit. What it is doing is sitting on the fence -a deliberate policy to minimise alienating its voters from either camp.

Remainers complain that Labour have blocked voting for a 2nd referendum -so you cant argue it is blocking Brexit.

It is doing it for selfish gains -Labour wants power, so its hoping the Tories will implode whilst Labour fence sit.

Have you worked out what Brexit you want yet? :ROFLMAO:
