Is it ok to use two different height fascias on adjacent roof sides? I cant envisage how these would meet without looking like a dogs dinner. I've done some tests and the bottom row of tiles should start at the same height, so that should look ok.
Its a hipped roof on all sides on our extension. I can see how this has occurred due to the placement of the hip rafters on one side. not something that can change now.

Looks to be about 25mm difference in height on the two sides.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

You must have 2 diff pitches and/or the hips arent at 45deg when viewed on plan.

Will you actually see it once the gutter is on?

Once the bonnets and gutters are on I'm sure it will only be a really keen eye that spots it, but I cant get my head around how it will work.

Perhaps its not that uncommon, but I couldn't find much about it online.

I guess you are saying the plumb cut on the rafter feet is different on one side to the other, possible because the chippie put the hip in the wrong place at the corner.

Its difficult to work out when the hips are different angles.

Does it nean your soffit widths ie overhang is different or the tile overhang is different?

Im trying to visualize how the tiles come right at the hips.

If the seat cuts are level, the tiles and gutter all will line up ok, the fascia height difference doesnt matter

Maybe the cavity one side is different to the other or the wall plate is measuring differently from the outer masonry on adjacent elevations.
Bonnets and gauge will not work if pitches differ. Absolutely not.

The OP needs to address the anomaly before setting out especially if he is using bonnets. We had this problem when one of the elevations was 50mm cavity and the rest were 100mm. I just could not get the tile batten to ring round so bonnets/arris were out of the question.

I hadnt thought of different cavities -makes sense though.

I suppose bonnets wouldnt work as they would end up on the pizz.

It's more to do with coursing matching either side of the hip. You need the same eaves overhang, the same distance up the rafter, the same gauge and the same pitch. The bonnets follow a line up the centre of the hip blade.

For all other hip roofs - use a ridge and not bonnets or arris.

Can’t you set out a new soffit level coming off the brick face and then work your fascia off that and hide the difference by cutting the top of the fascia

cutting the top of the fascia
You really want the fascia to ring round level, even if it means slightly underdoing the tile kick one side and slightly overdoing it t'uther.
I agree it can be wangled to some extent by say fitting a pre-set depth fascia all round then adding a knock-on to the top of the fascia that is slightly under-kicking.
