Thanks. You seemed to ignore the last section of the post though. The bit where you say what is going to happen. Never mind, I expected that.
I ignored the bit where I say what is going to happen :?::?::?:

I did not think the bit about Chamberlain was relevant, but ok -

Had you been around at the time, would you, on November 1st 1938, be confirming the following 'fact'? It was even written down on a piece of paper.
You appear to be now saying that something that happened in the past but was not true is/was nevertheless a fact. How can that be?

Which statements by the present PM, written or otherwise, about brexit do you think are facts?
Do you think the situation is equivalent to dealing with Hitler?

Until we have left the EU, everything is just a prediction. Now, why don’t you spell out your predictions of exactly how you think we are going to suffer after a no deal Brexit. At least we can refer back to them to see whether your predictions were right or wrong

What you say might, at first glance seem sensible.

However you are conflating 2 different things and calling them the same.

In a no deal scenario, here are some facts:
EU trade:
Border controls
Rules of origin checks
Paperwork
Delays

WTO
damaging tariffs
most favoured nation status

Both:
Loss of 759 worldwide trade deals built over 40 plus year
Loss of negotiating strength due to smaller country
Loss of negotiating strength because UK will have 0 trade deals and will need something to continue trade.

And:
Years of damage to business because the UK will have to spends so much time developing trade alliances.

The above are 100% fact.

Given that there are zero tangible benefits of having no trade deals, the result can only be negative.

I agree it isnt possible to calculate the exact cost in specific monetary terms, but sector by sector, industry by industry, the business damage and cost can be analysed.

A no deal Brexit is not a single event, it is the start of a long process. The most optomistic option is that the imnediate shock will get the UK back to the negotiating table with the EU.

Notch 7 can't believe the nation voted out and is leaving the EU ...FACT.

ROFLLLLLLLLLLLL
I would appreciate it if you can identify any part of my post is not fact.

I am interested to hear what research you have done that helped you draw your conclusion about Brexit.

By the way: no deal -you think thats the goal, the win.
It is not.....its just the start of more negotiation to end up with a worse deal than we currently have.

So if the UK just leave on 31st Oct, it isnt the end of Brexit, it isnt no deal, it isnt a win for Leavers.....it just puts the UK in limbo.

Notch 7 can't believe the nation voted out and is leaving the EU ...FACT.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Gasbanni thinks we will leave on 31st Oct with 'no deal'

'No deal' means nothing.
It just leaves the UK in trade limbo.

And the UK will go back to the EU needing a deal.

Poor old Gasbanni, he thinks hes won......but he has lost.:cry::cry:
