I cant see any sign of a wall starter being used or vertical dpc. I thought the cavity had to be opened at this point.

The builder says he will have a couple of blokes on site Monday to level the roof. The trusses run off front to back by 35mm so that the roof battens touch the brickwork on the gable on one side and are about 50mm off on the other side.
The blockwork was built to a bowed line and now the wallplate has gaps and packing in an attempt to level it.
The bracing would not have passed inspection when I was putting roofs on but is it ok now?
The hangers are just wtaf.
Missing insulation all over the place.
Unfinished blockwork on the gable wall.
He said the straps and truss clips will be added later.
I told my brother to **** the builder off when I saw the footings had been poured running down hill about 100mm and no provision had been made for the drains etc.

Apart from the shabby woodwork on the roof, and the obvious hunger bodge, it's difficult to comment pictures without any indication of what they're suppose to represent.

Nothing wrong with the wallplate.
I'm not a roofer, but i've always seen wallplates bolted to the wall and embedded in mortar.
Makes more sense.
So place the wallplate, drill holes, place a bed of mortar, screw the wallplate levelled.
The wall might be bowed or the wood, that's why I think they use a level as they screw the wallplate.

I had my brother run a couple of string line front to back on the underside of the bottom chord.................28mm crown in the middle.
Hence the need to level the wallplate while installing it.
Hence the need to start off level with your footing and carry that on through the build.
That'll be great, but now the structure is up.
