Strange issue with pressure climbing when boiler is off, then climbs past 3bar and vents when heating on,suspected the expansion vessel so tested and all seems ok pressure was a little high so adjusted back to 0.75 bar.No water inside it at all.Removed filling loop and no valves passing when turned off.
Inspected heat exchanger all seems clean and no obvious signs of water passing across from DHW side.
This has all started this week so don’t suspect there being a hidden filler loop somewhere else.
Anyone had a similar experience on this boiler?.

How did you test the expansion vessel < and you cant tell by looking at a plate heat exchanger if it is pin holed, remove the filling loop and isolate the cold water inlet and see if the pressure still rises if it does its the EV
