As the title asks, how is the weather in your area?

We are in Suffolk, East Anglia and it's very blustery with some light rain but coping ok at the moment. How about you?

The cat woke me up at an ungodly hour for a Sunday to tell me off - apparently it's my fault that it's windy and scary out there..

Everything that isn't bolted down is being blown about. Horrible weather just outside of London.

Very very wet and wild here. Work from home tomorrow, no chance of travel today.

wanted to go sailing today - no chance.

Last couple of weekends have been great though.

Essex. I'm about yo get on my roof and stick my ridge tile down with CT1. I heard it fly off in the night

Very lucky it landed as is.. A couple of feet to the left and it would have shattered on the path.

It's bad here. Not one, but TWO wheelie bins got blown over. I've seen nothing like it since '87. :(

Last couple of weekends have been great though.

Some years back, having believed the Met office forecast of force 4-5, occasional 6, and frustrated at being stuck there for 3 already days waiting for the weather to improve , I sailed from Porthmadoc to Aberystwith on a day like today. Despite being a confirmed atheist, I found myself on my knees praying to god, and crying.

Since I posted the original our power has gone off 7 times, usually lasting about 10-20 seconds each time.
Wife is going bananas because she has to keep resetting washing machine and tumble dryer.
Won't listen when I ask er to just sit down and relax till it's over. Wind is now picking up stronger with expected squalls around 3.00pm with very strong gusting.
Glad I dismantled by greenhouse a few weeks ago, otherwise I'd be climbing over fences tomorrow retrieving the bits!

Just been out to walk the dog. I love being outside, so having a dog always makes sure I go out, whatever the weather.

Its certainly windy here in Sussex and drizzle, a few fences down.

I was planning to do a bit of gardening, but Ive unplanned that
