In the meantime, keep a diary of times and days when it happens and speak to all of your neighbours to ask if they have any strange noises.

Your kitchen tap should be the best workingtap in the house as it is under mains pressure.
You said earlier you have a combi boiler so no hot water tank or tank in the loft. Strange how all the other taps/showers are working normally.
Once you have eliminated/discounted all the possible physical reasons then it's time to investigate further.
Although the land was previously allotments it may be an idea to research it's history. How long was it allotments? Did anyone die on their allotment?
What was the land before allotments? It may have been a small village in the 18th/19th century where a tragedy happened. Local council offices may be able to help or even local church records.

Whats a goast ?
The banging problems we had I believe we're caused by having swietenia mahagoni bought from where the ruby player had the issues when he was alone. We got rid of it and the problems stopped ........Prior to us having problems I gave some to a friend and they started having odd unexplainable things happen so they brought it back !......I thought he was imaging things and they were a bit nutty. Until things started with us it was very old timber black with age.

It's a Ghost of a goat.
Stating the obvious perhaps, but record the sound next time you hear it. At best it might help you identify the cause, at worst when the investigators come to work out what happened to your body they'll be better prepared for the possibility the goast did it.
