Darwinism in action

Job done. Are we out, did I miss it?
No. January 2021. Mottie got the bunting and the Iceland frozen buffet out too early. A lot of old gammons on this forum think we have ceased paying the EU and are no longer enjoying the benefits of the single market. Poor old dodderers have a shock coming.

Depends on whether you are looking at your interpretation of it or the U.K. governments interpretation.

You mean "left" in the sense that you tell your girlfriend you've "left" your wife, when you still live in the same house, contribute to the household bills, get your food paid out of the same housekeeping money, grudgingly still look after the children on infrequent occasions, share the same bed?

But have spent four years talking about leaving but continuing to have free access to the house and conjugal rights after you eventually move out, and acting offended when your wife tells you that will stop?

And telling your new girlfriend that you can't marry her yet?

And still haven't agreed with your wife on access and maintenance?

I bet your wife and kids will be relieved when you eventually move out of the house.

Does your girlfriend believe you? She must be as thick as Mottie.

There is no winning side in the Brexit Domnishambles.

Lmao.....tip top dozy Analogy....You have never been divorced then!!!!!!!!

You can bitch and nit pick all you like but nothing’s going to change.
We are about to leave a lucrative trding bloc, seemigly without any kind of agreement or deal. Things will change for sure.

Luckily we also have the option to change or minds as voters.(y)

Luckily, you don’t. (y)
I'm as vulnerable to recession as any voter. Whilst my overheads are small and my customer base fairly loyal and bouyant, I'm not completely Covid/No-Deal Brexit proof.

I will be as quick as any Brexer to vote in a pro EU government, should people around me begin losing jobs, homes, endure poverty and see their children suffer unnecessarily.

So, you think EU members will come out of the post Covid economic recession better than non-EU members?

I'm at a loss to see why you've changed the discussion so suddenly and toward such a totally different track.
Some non-EU members have not really experienced any Covid recessions, e.g Vietnam.
But it's too early to tell whether EU or non-EU members will weather the recession better.
Even many years down the line, I'm sure arguments will continue about who fared the recession better.

Sorry, what was the discussion that you feel I took off track? Have you put it back on track then?
As far as I can see, the discussion was about Conservative members, tearing up their membership card, Brexit, the current UK government, and individuals susceptibility to a recession.
I don't see any previous reference to recessional comparisons between EU member states, and non-EU member states. I can't see the relevance to the discussion.

Look at post #24. My post that you quoted was a question to that or did you miss it?
