New central heating system

Reg

Two ways of looking at it... Wait until your boiler dies. Or bite the bullet.

Problem with letting it go on is it could die on christmas eve.

Hedge your bets and invest in a new immersion heater so you have hot water when it does die.

Put the money away ready for that day.

Hi Ian, thanks for that info, I will watch out but in the mean time I will leave well alone. If I go downstairs when it's my time I wont have to worry about heating.

My mum and dads back boiler is leaking.
They are both 80 odd.
If I took DPs advise I'd leave them with nothing, as they are spending my inheritance. But the way I look at it is they looked after me as a kid so I should do the decent thing..

Slowly does it just in case they pop before the boiler pops.
Powerflushing today and going to for a new boiler in the near future.
Hedging my bets.

This is the vent for her SVP

I have someone who will move this to the right and replace with the right one for that tile.
It's struggling to breath. I smoke tested it and was only creeping out from one side. Its so tight to the tile

I'm confident this will cure the problem or her problem.
