Please can somebody help me my builder is on about running my flat roof on an angle higher than the ridge to drain up and over the ridge is this possible

thank you basically from the ridge the timbers that the flat roof will sit on are about 1”higher at the guttering end, meaning all rain would run to the ridge. He said that he could counter act that by. fitting these “firings” that you mention. I can’t believe he would think that I’m that stupid. But am I, is there any way that water could run on a slope towards the ridge and up and over to drain?

I know it sounds crazy and I don’t know why he is doing it I just want it (the water) to run to the guttering. Is there a benefit in running up and over the ridge?, (but he wants to Chanel it toward the ridge and re direct it with firrings) and then he says it will drain to the guttering. It doesn’t make any sense to me and I don’t think he knows his ass from his elbow

Sounds like it wasn't the only problemThe builder was sacked today I think he was on something.
