Hi All, thanks for reading, haven't posted here for 13yrs ).
Thinking of installing conservatory, would need to move boiler flu in order to install and move 60cm from conservatory opening. Boiler is 40yr old, running strong. Are there universal kits to adapt to such old flues? See pic. Thanks in advance for any guidance. Simon

No, afraid not - they were never designed to be anything other than a simple hole through the wall. New boiler time!

Thanks for responding. That boiler has cost me maybe £50 service costs in the last 20 years, low service costs out the window then if I do change boiler.... May have to rethink conservatory )

Is that a balanced flue for an Ideal Standard? I had to leave mine behind after 35 years when we downsized. Never serviced but I did have to fit a few thermo-couples.

Thanks all. Stellar Ideal W boiler, still in service.. did leak once a little around the cast of the exchanger but then sealed itself ). May reduce conservatory down to 2.5mtr width to leave 30cm to the flu. I'm only a diyer, not gas expert. I'm wondering if there are companies out there making custom flues .. I dream on. Thanks all for feedback

May not be that efficient but so far served me well...
