I have a roll of 120cm wide galvanised mesh, I think it's 20 or 22 gauge. I need to cut a 10m length in half so I get 2 60cm wide pieces.

I already have some snips but for 10m I'm hoping there might be a quicker way, perhaps using a power tool to save my wrists!

Any tips?

By the time you spent writing this, you could have had it done.
Get you best wire cutters out and you'll probably find that'll it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be.

Maybe you type a lot more slowly than me. I've done this before, I know how bad it is :)

You'd be surprised be how fast I can type.
Having kept chickens, I've done it many times too and, I know know how easy it is once you get going.

Is there a better tool than wire cutters or snips? I'm going to be doing a fair amount of this stuff in the near future so if there's anything that let's you kind of glide along like big shears on fabric I'd rather spend a bit of cash.

I've never bothered with anything other than a good pair of wire cutters.
I know it's a bit tedious but, it's not hard work and once you get going you'll soon have it done.

what happens if you cut it with an angle grinder whilst still in a roll?

I was wondering about that but didn't want to knacker an entire roll if it went wrong :)
I even wondered if I could stretch out 10m then walk along with my grinder like a knife, but it seemed a bit of a cowboy move!
