Renovating my kitchen.

Took rad of wall and going to replace. The pipes just ran across wall under radiator and up into rad

Would you chase pipes into wall to look neater or just leave exposed? They go about 1-1.5m across

If so, would push fit be OK to use?

Pipes have stop ends currently, as seen in pic below

Up to you, if you it neatly in copper it'll look ok on the surface, at that height you could just hide them behind skirting boards.

I would use copper and not use push fit and put it wall. Will look a lot better. Be sure to rap to protect copper

you would need to take above the skirt

Cheers. Would I use pre soldered joints and also would I fit rad first and then pipework, or would you measure pipework and then install rad? Not used coper / solder before but assume just a blowtorch needed if I get pre soldered joints?

Would I wrap the copper in the grey foam insulation?

Thanks

Mix between the two I suppose, I wouldn't know until I got down on my knees. Hang rad and pipe to it.

Best wrap with Denzo

Thanks.
Just had a thought... I'd have to chase the whole lot from the ceiling down wouldn't I? The pipes are boxed in down the wall to where they pop out in pic.... Or would you put two 90 degree bends to take it into the wall and across to rad?

Thanks.

Chase the lot in, remove the floor from room above and adjust pipework into the wall from the floor space.

Thanks.

I have the tools and the skills so easy for me to say. Id do so you could see no pipes until the radiator.

Id leave no pipe unturned.

Run 8mm right at the bottom of the wall and cover with skirting board
