Hello

looking for some advice I am trying to get a TCPA2B PA fob to work with me honeywell flex 50 alarm

I have successfully added the fob to a user and also enabled the remote PA fob setting

however when I activate the PA fob the lights flash on the fob but nothing on the alarm

anything I have missed or other settings need changed?

Are you sure the fob isn't creating a silent pa?

What happens after your test, when you enter your code? Does it show a PA reset in the log?

If you want the fob to generate an audible PA, you will need to set a panel input to N/C zone as PA, then link a silent PA output to it.

No don’t see any silent pa on the system log and I can login as installer and get no pa messages for reset. It’s like the alarm isn’t getting the message. I have another RF fob for setting and insetting and that’s working fine.

I have followed the install steps in the manual unless I have missed something.

you think it’s because I haven’t linked to a zone?

thanks for your help
