Legoland windsor

My main memory of the white house disco was one saturday night meeting a girl, Sue was her name. We had a few dances, I bought her a drink or two and at the end of the evening I offered her a lift home. She accepted and told me she lived in Bracknell. A slight nuisance because Bracknell was a fair distance and the opposite direction to Slough. Anyway, I drove her home in my Mk2 Cortina, I wasn't really familiar with Bracknell so she directed me and eventually ended up on a large housing estate, she said 'I live there, middle house'. It was an average house fronted by a communal 'green' with a couple of trees. We had a snog and I asked her if I could see her again, she said yes and I arranged to pick her up the following night at 7pm.

The following night I found the estate no problem but was struggling to find her house, it was a large estate and my recollection of a small row of houses, fronted by a communal green, couple of trees was a description that seemed to fit quite a few of the houses on this particular estate.

Eventually I pulled over and parked at what I was fairly sure was where I'd stopped the night before. I walked across the green and there was a couple of kids playing football so just to be on the safe side I said to the lads 'oi, what house does Sue live in lads', 'that house over there mister'.

I knocked on the door and said to the middle aged lady 'is Sue in', the lady explained that Sue had popped down to the shops but invited me in. Sue's parents were lovely and we got on really well, she offered me a cup of tea which I accepted and then insisted I have a piece of cake.

Ten minutes later I'm sitting there, chatting away, cup of tea in one hand, cake in the other when we heard the front door open, 'that'll be Sue' said the lady, and in walked a girl I'd never seen before in my life.
lol. Come on, you can't leave it there ... what happened next? Did you simply say 'oops, there's been a mistake!' and leg it? Was this different Sue even hotter than the first so you chanced it and asked her out instead? Tell us please :)

If it was the Hollands estate then the most likely ending is ....
So I meet her again at the next disco, took her back to her place at the end of the night and in the morning she introduced her 3 kids! :ROFLMAO:

when she first walked in I didn't react at all, I think I was expecting the real Sue to walk in behind her but when she shut the door and her mum said Phil's here Sue, I still didn't immediately react because I just couldn't quite get my head round what was happening, Sue didn't say anything, just stood there looking confused, I suppose after about 20 seconds the full horror of the situation dawned on me and I broke into a sweat, said something like I'm really sorry before moving quickly to the door and legging it to the car.

I was at the same disco a few times after that but never bumped into Sue again.

Cheers guys, so you don't think the experience of staying in the Legoland hotel is worth the extra cost

All depends how old your boy is. Would he appreciate the hotel for what it offers?
Many years ago I took my young boys to Disney Florida, but in hindsight should have waited a couple more years as they would have been able to do a lot more for the money.

We stayed at the Bracknell travel lodge for £25 but ate at the Premier Inn for evening and breakfast.

Was a few years ago and if I went again I'd look for airbnb as that's are preferred accommodation these days.

Start at the back of park and work your way to the front entrance. Gets busy at the front when they open with some attractions.

We went Saturday and Sunday at the end of May and was quiet. Some rides we could get on while others had 20min wait. Sunday was the quietest day which surprised us

He'll be 4 by then, and is currently Lego mad

I see what your saying, we want to do Disney aswell at some point but will probably wait until he's just starting in his teens for the reason you say

Cheers, we found the same with Thomas land

Imagine what could have been. That's quite sad really.

I sometimes wonder where Susan is now. Probably wintering with her mother in Guildford. A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on. But old now, old. There can be no true beauty without decay.

Uncle Monty: I sometimes wonder where Norman is now. Probably wintering with his mother in Guildford. A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on. But old now, old. There can be no true beauty without decay. (quotes.net)
