Jab for a Job...

I won't be queuing up to have this 'miracle' jab anytime soon!

Why do you call it a miracle jab? It was created by scientists, who dedicate their lives to creating vaccines. It wasn't delivered by God.

But further down this link......

"Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein is proposing banning people who cannot prove they have been vaccinated from shops, malls, restaurants and gyms."

Going to ruffle some feathers on here.
Sheeple on the other hand tend to prefer wool, not feathers ;)

But funny how those 'conspiracy theorists' were ridiculed for suggesting such measures would be implemented not so long ago...

Next thing you know the unvaccinated may be required to wear a yellow star.
(an appropriate colour according to those arch coward members of the 'bridge').

And ironic that the first country suggesting such a wide ranging ID system is one that keeps reminding us about past segregation atrocities...

Mind you they do also have vast experience on enforcing concentration camp like conditions on the Palestinians, so they know a thing or two about social apartheid!

I guess you didn't spot the 'miracle' reference?

Don't you think it a tad strange that these 'scientists' have allegedly managed to come up with a 'miracle' jab so quickly when they haven't yet come up with one for the common cold?

Will you be happy to keep pumping in an unknown drug into your body year on year just to reduce your risk of dying by a minuscule amount?

And are you happy taking the jab knowing that the UK has removed the right to sue over any side effects, and is paying through the nose for these 'miracle' jabs?

There have been many who have proclaimed that the UK is doing 'far better' than the EU...

But many countries in the EU have a greater proportion of fully vaccinated people, pay less, and liability has not been waived...

Guess which nation is the bigger sucker even if you believe in the jab!

Equally, it is the exaggerated fears of people like you unwilling to accept that the vaccine is worthwhile/ even crucial, who put everyone else at risk.
Could you point us to any independently audited articles that claim that having the 'jab' prevents the 'jabee' from still spreading the 'virus'?

And furthermore...

The BAME's have some excuse in that many of them are superstitious and believe some of the absolute nonsense which is spread around.
Ignoring your obvious racist slant, could you tell us how only vaccinating certain people in a country or indeed delaying/restricting the 'miracle jab' will solve the worldwide 'problem'?

Why is that a racist slant? Is telling that truth racist if brown people are involved? Bollax like that helps keep racism rife. Just out of interest, did you allow your highly skilled medical children to have the normal vaccinations growing up?

No, not at all strange. There is no such thing as a "common cold", they are all different viruses, but unlike covid 19, common cold very rarely kills 2.5 million people in a year, so little incentive to make a vaccine.

Will you be happy to keep pumping in an unknown drug

It is not an unknown drug if you're a virologist.

I have had many other vaccines, I have no idea how those are made - why are these new ones suddenly different?

There have been many who have proclaimed that the UK is doing 'far better' than the EU...

I honestly don't follow what you mean by this. You sound like you think the vaccine is a good thing here? Anyway, this thread has nothing to do with UK v EU vaccine uptake, it is just about the vaccines and stopping the virus spreading.

yeah, it'll probably be August before I get mine, being a youngster!
I don't go to the pub much these days, but as soon as we can sit outside and have a pint, I think I'll have to support my local, on a sunny saturday.

So, for clarity, you feel vilified (cos you're right), and those who accept the science are fools? Did I get that right?

Not at all. It's the villification of people who for whatever reason don't want to take the vaccine at this time. It's their personal choice, their body and they shouldn't feel pressured into something they're not ready for. There's almost a medieval mentality at work, whipped up by the government and media, where someone who exercises their rights is at risk of being run out of the village or ending up in a pillory. It's not about being right, it's about freedom of choice for a vaccine that it is claimed neither prevents anyone catching Covid or passing it on. The "fools rush in" wasn't necessarily about people accepting the science, more cautioning about rushing headlong into something when it's often best to assess the situation first.

That is totally fair. But it is also equally fair for an organisation to take measure to protect itself and its resources, to say "get a vaccine, or don't work here".
Nobody is forcing you to have a vaccination, and nobody if forcing you to go to work - you are totally free to make a decision. If your current boss says you must have a vaccine, I am sure you will find plenty of others that are more relaxed about it and agree with your opinion.

In Sept 2019 the government were talking about mandatory vaccinations - nobody seemed bothered then. I guess everybody knows exactly what is in an MMR jab - those never had a controversy, did they?

It's a simple cost V benefit example.
What is the benefit of investing so much time, effort and expense into producing a vaccine for the common cold.
Now generic over-the-counter medicines for the common cold that reduces symptoms, that's worth it.

But it doesn't stop you anyone catching it and transmiting it. So why the villification of people who are cautious? Fools rush in.............

It doesn't prevent you catching it, but the symptoms are very much less than life threatening. The jury is still out on the transmitting side, but what's not to like? The cautious ones are the timid ones hiding behind those who do accept the vaccination and there is the risk of catching it and suffering the effects.

The other obvious argument against the whole "Bill Gates 5G mind control" thing is that multiple scientists in different countries have all developed their own vaccines.
Different methods, but using the same scientific principles, to create a vaccine.

Pretty sure Bill Gates can't be behind the Cuban, Russian, Indian, Netherlands, Canada, Israel, UK, Japanese, South Korean, Vietnamese, Australian, and Chinese vaccines, as well as the US one. I'd love to hear how they can all be either using magic miracle power, or somehow faking them with dodgy methods, while getting verifiable results.
