So does that mean you mainly fit Quinn (100's) and that Myson and Stelrad are minor in comparison but Stelrad is more popular than Myson would you reckon?
Some years ago I was left with the impression that Myson, Stelrad and Quinn were the top 3 in terms of quality and value for money with Quinn being the best in terms of value for money but didn't know if that was still the case

Just pick a radiator you like......

Thanks - do you find these are preferred by customers in general?

One rad brand might be more popular but less value for money and the other might be better value for money but not quite as popular from an aesthetics point of view - I'll be refurbishing houses regularly so will be buying regularly

Same things with UPVC windows

Live and learn. Go for quality rather than value..... what is value

Buy quality.

I had some 1970s Stelrad in my house. I bought a modern Stelrad, but wasn't quite happy with it. I got a couple of Quinns: a short one was OK, but the 1.6m long one was very thin steel and wobbles.

More recently, I bought a bunch of Myson Premier rads, and this difference is night and day. They are solid. They don't flex. Absolutely brilliant! Even tempted to replace a modern Quinn with a Myson!

I just want the best value for money brand - do you have a personal fav Bodd?

Best value for money would be kudox from Screwfix or Toolstation.

I've fitted Prorad aswell which is part of the stelrad group and they are alright, actually there the best rads I've installed (along with 2x burlo's, I was going to change the whole house to burlo then they went bust shortly after I bought the first 2 and stock became impossible to get), heat up quickly and evenly, the worst one i installed was a purmo, just doesn't seem to heat evenly or give out much heat. (Yes my system is balanced).

Henrad are also good if you can find reasonable prices.

Also try this company, I've used them and they are good, only downside of ordering rads online is damage from the courier, issues are sorted quickly but until you remove the packaging you don't know.
