First post so please be gentle. You may well ask the question that if I don`t know the answer to this basic question already I shouldn`t even be contemplating attempting to refurbish the bathroom anyway here goes anyway all/any advice much appreciated.

22mm feeds for hot & cold need to reduce to 15mm on both seems simple, was going to use pushfit been adviced to use Hep2o would have been straight forward however was also adviced to used 2@ 22mm straight isolating valves which would allow me to carry out works then attach on completion thought this maybe a better option.Problem is been informed that then to use 22mm x 15mm reducer ??? how does this attach to the isolating valve ?? how then does this inturn attach to the pushfit pipe ???

Please try to keep it basic for my small brain ant advice appreciated

Make sure you get the correct one as stated above.

What you don't need is a reducing coupling.
