How to get Eon to replace their faulty equipment?

A UK Power Networks electrician says the Proteus Heating Contactor, that Eon fitted between the meter and the consumer unit is faulty. Eon do not appear to have a phone number dedicated to electrical faults, and it appears that you have to go through their general enquiries phone number, ie for billing enquiries etc. The first time I called them, I was told that they no longer deal with Proteus and I had to arrange an electrician to replace the Proteus Contactor. Having now had a look at the wiring and having had a chat with the now retired electrician who rewired the property a few years ago, he confirms that it has to be an Eon electrician who replaces the Contactor because there is no fuse box between the meter and the contactor. So I phoned the Eon number again and she said she would put me through to Eco, but I got cut off after about 8 mins. However, I now see that is for eco boilers! Although the Eon assistants sound as though they could be in India, it is lunch here now so I though that I would wait until after lunch to try again.

Other than telling Eon that I am going to change my supplier, does anyone have advise as to what I should do? Does anyone know their electrical faults phone number?

EDIT: just checked the Proteus website and it looks like they no longer sell the exact same item, it is now encased in a steel box! Although there is a “new” one like mine on eBay.

Thanks, however the 02476 192000 is not Eon, it is a Facilitator Company who work for Eon, but I spoke to an English lady who was most helpful, who put me through to a helpful Eon English guy who gave me the number of the Appointments Booking Team. The first time I rang the phone went dead after a minute (seems to be a habit of Eon) but I rang again and the lady was again most helpful and has booked an Eon employee or their representative to hopefully come to change the meter in 2 weeks. She said that as the meter is dead, it means that it is faulty and will be replaced together with the Contactor if that is faulty.
