I used to have E7 PTC which was my postcode and my company name on my land rover but when I moved premises from E7 to E13 I let it go with the car when I sold it.

My mate has RM12 PUP on his bike which is his postcode and his nickname.

I think it’s better when they don’t stick out and mean something just to yourself, your friends and your family.

It's still with it. I guess yours was a Black 08 Freelander?

What makes me roll around laughing is when somebody pays through the nose for a private plate that is so far removed from what they are trying to convey they have to mess about with it to make it look even remotely right.

An utter waste of money in that case.

My mate is an avid collector of old cars wrecks in particular those with a 5 digit number

buy an old morry thousand wreck for less than 500 squid and the plate are in some instances worth 2 grand

people dont check the values

I saw MD 1 about fifteen years ago on a clapped out old black BMW 5 series near Cockfosters. The plate must have been worth 20 times the car!!

Still exists on a green Mercedes now according to the DVLA.

"bit of gardening in the cab" - many plumbers' vans look like that inside - and they're still being used :)

And what exactly is going on with the tranny in the first pic? It seems to be moving up and down slightly! :cautious: ;)
